Lockheed Martin has introduced the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (PAC-3 ACE), a lower-cost interceptor designed to counter a wide range of air and missile threats at less than half the unit cost of the PAC-3 MSE.
The PAC-3 ACE is built on the proven PAC-3 fire-control system and integrates with the MIM-104 Patriot and the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS), enabling faster development, testing and deployment while maintaining interoperability across allied forces.
Designed as a complementary air defence effector, the system offers multi-threat coverage, including air-breathing threats, cruise missiles and short-range ballistic missiles, within a single platform.

Lockheed Martin plans to collaborate with American and European industry partners to support rapid production and strengthen the resilience of the defence industrial base, while enabling allied nations to field a common, interoperable interceptor.
