L3Harris Technologies has received a $170 million order from a Central European nation for its Falcon IV family of communication systems, reinforcing its position in supporting regional force modernisation and NATO interoperability.

The advanced radio systems will deliver secure, next-generation voice and high-speed data communications, strengthening command-and-control capabilities across operational environments. Designed for performance in contested conditions, the Falcon IV radios enhance situational awareness, connectivity, and mission effectiveness.

The order comes amid ongoing defence modernisation efforts across Central Europe, where nations are upgrading communication infrastructure to ensure seamless coordination with U.S. and NATO forces.

“Central Europe is currently undergoing a major modernization of its capabilities, and L3Harris radios are a force multiplier in that transformation,” said Chris Aebli, President, Mission Critical Communications, Communications & Spectrum Dominance, L3Harris. “Our Falcon IV systems provide Europe with assured communications to remain connected regardless of their operating environment.”

L3Harris is actively supporting NATO modernisation initiatives, with programmes underway in Germany, the Netherlands and other allied nations. The adoption of Falcon IV systems ensures interoperability across allied networks, enhancing coalition readiness and long-term operational effectiveness.
