INS Sudarshini, the Indian Navy’s sail training ship, departed Boston, USA, on 25 July 2026 as part of its ongoing Lokayan 26 deployment, following participation in the prestigious SAIL 250 celebrations and the International Naval Review 250.
During its visit to the United States, INS Sudarshini took part in SAIL 250 events at Norfolk, Baltimore, New York and Boston. The ship also hosted dignitaries, members of the Indian diaspora and international naval delegations, showcasing India’s rich maritime heritage while reinforcing its commitment to maritime cooperation and friendship through professional and cultural engagements.
Following the conclusion of its US visit, INS Sudarshini has set course for Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal.
The ship continues to serve as a beacon of India’s maritime strength, professionalism, and goodwill on the global stage.
