Ondas Inc. has announced a collaboration between its subsidiary Sentrycs and Lockheed Martin to integrate Sentrycs’ Cyber-over-RF technology into the Sanctum™ Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) platform, aimed at strengthening protection against evolving aerial threats.
Under the collaboration, Sentrycs’ cyber-based detection and mitigation capability will be incorporated into Sanctum, Lockheed Martin’s advanced modular C-UAS architecture. The integration is designed to enhance the platform’s ability to detect, track, analyse, and neutralise unmanned aerial threats in real time across a range of operational environments.
Sanctum is built to address complex drone threats, including coordinated swarm attacks and rapidly evolving unmanned aerial system (UAS) tactics. The system combines artificial intelligence, cloud-enabled data fusion and a modular open architecture to integrate sensors, effectors and command-and-control systems into a unified operational framework. This enables scalable and interoperable deployment across military, homeland security and critical infrastructure protection missions.
Through the collaboration, Sentrycs’ Cyber-over-RF technology will add a precise, non-kinetic detection and mitigation layer to Sanctum’s architecture. Operating at the communication protocol level, the system enables operators to detect, identify, track and take control of unauthorised drones without relying on jamming, spoofing or kinetic engagement. This approach allows threats to be safely neutralised, including guiding drones to controlled landings, while avoiding interference with surrounding communications and infrastructure.
“Sanctum is a modular, open Counter-UAS architecture capable of rapidly integrating advanced sensing and mitigation technologies,” said Matt Bahnemann, Senior Manager Program Management at Lockheed Martin. “Integrating Sentrycs’ Cyber-over-RF capability expands the layered sensing and response options available to operators and further strengthens Sanctum’s ability to address evolving unmanned aerial threats.”
“Modern defense against unmanned aerial threats requires integrated, layered solutions that combine advanced detection, rapid decision-making, and precise mitigation capabilities,” stated Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings Inc. “We are proud to collaborate with Lockheed Martin, a global leader in defense technology, to integrate Sentrycs’ Cyber-over-RF capability into Sanctum. Combining Lockheed Martin’s advanced modular defense architecture with Sentrycs’ precise, non-disruptive detection and mitigation technology creates a stronger and more comprehensive operational capability for addressing evolving aerial threats.”
The collaboration reflects a broader shift toward integrated and interoperable counter-drone systems, as defence organisations increasingly prioritise layered, flexible solutions to counter rapidly evolving unmanned threats.
