Royal Air Maroc is expanding its European network this summer with four new destinations; Bilbao, Alicante, Verona and Lille, strengthening both passenger connectivity and belly cargo capacity between Europe, Africa and international markets.
The new routes will primarily be served by Boeing 737 aircraft, offering up to three tonnes of cargo capacity per flight while feeding into Royal Air Maroc’s long-haul passenger and freighter network through its Casablanca hub, further reinforcing the airline’s role as a gateway between Europe and Africa.
Bilbao expands the airline’s presence in northern Spain alongside Madrid, Barcelona and Seville, while Alicante strengthens connectivity to the Costa Blanca region and the local Moroccan diaspora. Verona became Royal Air Maroc’s eighth destination in Italy in June 2026, while Lille, launched in July, adds cargo capacity from northern France and serves the Moroccan diaspora in the region.

These new routes support both import and export flows and increase the efficiency of our growing international network through improved frequencies, greater flexibility and more attractive transit times.”
Royal Air Maroc Cargo now serves more than 81 destinations worldwide, supporting the movement of industrial goods, pharmaceuticals and other freight between Europe and Africa. The four new routes further strengthen the airline’s role as a North–South logistics bridge while advancing its strategy to expand its global hub network through Casablanca.
Royal Air Maroc Cargo provides a broad range of cargo products and services tailored to different industries and time-sensitive requirements. Operating from its cargo hub at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, the airline combines scheduled passenger and freighter services with interline agreements and trucking partnerships to support its global logistics network.
