The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies Private Limited) has strengthened its industrial ecosystem for the e200X electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with a series of strategic partnerships announced at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026.
The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SASMOS HET Technologies to collaborate on Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) engineering, design, and industrialisation for the e200X. The partnership will support areas including harness architecture, prototype evaluation, certification readiness, and mission-critical electronics systems. The ePlane Company also partnered with Ankit Aerospace Private Limited for the supply of aerospace-grade fasteners for the e200X.
The collaboration will provide precision-engineered components supporting the aircraft’s structural integrity, with Ankit Aerospace bringing experience from supplying components to organisations including ISRO, HAL, NAL, and DRDO.
The company showcased its ongoing partnership with HENSOLDT Avionics, which will provide avionics systems and flight radar solutions for the e200X. The collaboration will support navigation, situational awareness, and connectivity requirements as the aircraft progresses toward certification. In the advanced materials segment, The ePlane Company partnered with Azista Composites for composite materials, including carbon fibre prepregs and glass prepregs for airframe and radome applications. The collaboration will support the development of lightweight structures tailored to the aircraft’s requirements.
The company also announced a strategic partnership with AMS Heli Design to explore modular interior and seating solutions for the e200X. The collaboration will support multiple mission configurations, including air ambulance, air taxi, cargo, and VIP transport applications.
