A delegation from the government of Sakhalin Oblast visited ZALA as part of preparations for the upcoming “Wings of Sakhalin” forum, with a focus on civilian unmanned systems and digital technology applications.

The visit occurred on behalf of Valery Limarenko, with Vyacheslav Alenkov taking part.

The key theme of the visit was civilian products. The delegation was presented with the “GEOKOSMOS” control system for robotic complexes designed for various application environments. The system is a domestic development aimed at accelerating digitalisation, strengthening the protection of strategic industrial facilities, and expanding applications in the social sphere.

During a visit to the test site, flights of the ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with onboard artificial intelligence for infrastructure monitoring were demonstrated.

The visit continued at the data processing centre, where the capabilities of the “GEOKOSMOS” system were demonstrated in real time. Flights of the ZALA T-16 over Sakhalin were broadcast to control screens. Integration through the 4Z1 digital platform enables

specialists in Izhevsk and on the island to receive synchronised telemetry and high-quality video streams.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on joint preparations for the “Wings of Sakhalin” forum, including the demonstration of ZALA’s civilian UAV technologies.

The developments align with Presidential Decree No. 383 of 26 February 2026, which provides for the creation of infrastructure enabling unmanned systems to operate within a unified information space.
